Telephone-people.

So what is it about people and their cellphones?
Is it really that difficult to remember to turn them off or switch to silent-mode when entering an area where such annoyingly loud pollution is not deemed appropriate?

You'd think people would learn by example. You'd think people would learn from their own mistakes. You'd think people would have the slightest dignity to do this small, simple favor.

Well I guess I thought wrong. We are nearly helpless and indeed surrounded by an ocean of peoples who are quite easily controlled and lead by their phones and gadgetries more so than they are lead by anything and everything meangingful.
